Transparency Notice: What the Matrix Engine Is (And Isn't)

At Epicpaths, we believe in absolute clarity regarding digital liability and software capabilities. Please read the following distinction between our custom engineering services and the Matrix Engine SaaS platform.

The Engine (The Synthesizer)

The Epic Compliance Engine is a Consolidator and Helper for Accessibility Audits and Report Generation. It is not an automated scanner. It provides a dedicated workspace for practitioners to aggregate multi-vendor automated scan data (such as Axe and WAVE) alongside their own manual keyboard and screen reader testing.

The Output & Limitations

The Engine does not actively block bots, alter live server code, or automatically fix websites. Rather, it translates consolidated audit data into formal, defensible deliverables (VPATs, ACRs, Executive Summaries). While it helps mitigate litigation risks by creating transparent audit trails and supporting statutory compliance, its accuracy relies entirely on the knowledge, manual testing, and remediation execution of the practitioner using it.

What is the difference between Solo Auditor and Enterprise Single?
The Solo Auditor tier is designed for independent practitioners who primarily need an interactive workbench to record findings and export raw developer data (.CSV / .JSON). The Enterprise Single tier (Freelancer Pro) unlocks the advanced Synthesis Engine, allowing you to generate highly-polished, white-labeled Formal PDF Audits, Public Statements, and ITI VPAT declarations tailored with your agency's branding and color palette.
What happens when I exceed my physical Vault Storage quota?
Your active storage consumption is displayed on a real-time dashboard. If you hit your limit, the system will prevent the upload of new visual screenshot evidence or automated scan reports. You can either delete archived projects to free up space, or use the Storage Quota Upgrade paths to expand your vault ceiling instantly.
How does Team Workflow Routing work in the Agency tier?
The Enterprise Agency tier unlocks a rigid state-machine workflow governed by distinct roles: Owner & Co-Admin/Manager (full organizational privileges), Senior Auditor/Editor, and Junior Auditor/Editor. Owners or Senior Auditors can assign specific client ledgers to Junior Testers, who can then accept the assignment. Once a tester completes the audit, they click "Submit for Review," routing the project back to a Senior Editor. The Senior Editor reviews the evidence and can either approve it (locking the baseline) or return it for remediation. All routing actions are permanently stamped in a JSON audit trail to provide defensible compliance records and help mitigate risks.
